Dr. Braden’s special source of joy at the Braden Clinic in Ave Maria is patient diagnoses. He loves solving complex medical cases, taking care of patients who have unexplained medical problems, and figuring out how to apply holistic and osteopathic principles to heal the whole person. Dr. Braden also holds a special certification for outpatient management of addictions, including Suboxone for opioid dependent patients.
Dr. Beau Braden, D.O., is board certified in Emergency Medicine, Addiction Medicine and board eligible in Medical Toxicology. He completed an internship at Palmetto Hospital, residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Buffalo, and Fellowship in Medical Toxicology at the Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Braden worked as an attending physician at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver, teaching residents, pharmacists, and medical students. He attended medical school at Midwestern University and holds two masters degrees from University of Southern California in Public Health and Regulatory Science focusing on epidemiology, biostatistics, and medical product development. Before attending Medical School Dr Braden worked as a consultant in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry bringing new products to market. He earned his undergraduate degree at Thomas Aquinas College in California. Dr. Braden has worked in numerous Emergency Departments both in busy city trauma centers and in isolated rural hospitals.
Dr. Braden is originally from Northern California. He loves playing tennis, flying airplanes, and spending time with his wife and four young children.
Anthony has a Bachelor of Biology from the University of Scranton. He also has Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the Pennsylvania College of Technology. Anthony spent time on an ambulance as an EMT, he also trained as a CNA and worked in a nursing home through college. Anthony has practiced medicine in the areas of Gastroenterology, OB/GYN, and Family Care. He spent 10 years at the Laurel Health Family Practice Clinic in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, and came to Ave Maria, Florida, with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Emily Walkey is a board-certified pediatrician who has spent more than six years working as a primary care pediatrician. She studied biochemistry at Purdue University before attending medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine. Emily completed her pediatric residency at Duke University Medical Center. Her professional special interests are in breastfeeding and lactation guidance and the treatment of pediatric obesity.
Dr. Victoria Hingst has been with Advanced Hearing Technology since January of 2007. She is originally from Michigan but has also spent 10 years on the Canadian prairies working with the Saskatchewan Provincial Health Servce. For the the past 20 years she has worked in connection with two Otolaryngologists in Flint, Michigan. In her Flint practice, Dr. Hingst was involved in Balance testing, Pediatric Audiology, Hearing Aid Dispensing, and Cochlear Implant Programming. Dr. Hingst received her B.A. and M.A. from Michigan State University and remains a loyal Spartan Fan through thick and thin.
Dr. Dunnigan is a Board Certified Audiologist and Senior Staff at Advanced Hearing Technology, Inc. Dr. Timothy Dunnigan is a nationally–known Audiologist and respected speaker who has over 25 years of professional experience in the field of Audiology. He has been recognized many times for his outstanding service as well as his care and compassion towards patients. Dr. Dunnigan received his doctorate of Audiology at University of Florida. He completed his internship at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT, and his Clinical Fellowship at LSS in Laconia, NH. He received his Doctorate of Audiology from University of Florida.
